From 3d to 2d....

Like the way this piece looks really out of place without actually standing out

In the process of painting with ink.

Really like the way the photo sits in the centre of this piece.

Painted onto parchment, which gives a nice effect.  really need to do some more painting, feeling a bit rusty.

Overload.... system malfunction.....

I don't know about anybody else, but this week I'm really finding it hard to get any practical work done.  I seem to be running from place to place with barely a Min to spare in between.  I have also discovered that I am unable to be in 3 places at the one time which has come as a huge shock to me,  and this prioritizing!!! well I'l say no more on THAT subject.
I was really hoping to get some more printing done this week but alas I may just have to wait till next week and hope that I can make up the lost time..

Progress and experimentation....

my first attempt at mono print

unsuccessful woodblock..

love how these colours work together and how the image is so haphazard

Definetaly think I could work more with monoprint

part of my studio space

What is now being referred to as the xmas tree..

Spent most of the week thicking the centre to form shadow

Left over pieces from paper clay cutouts

Like this overlapping effect.. will definetaly try and work these leftovers into something...
I spoke to Pat and Des this week about burning my bamboo piece when its complete and they were both very helpful.  Although a safety report will have to be done out beforehand, they both seem confident that I will get the all clear.  Really excited now about creating this piece and watching it disappear.
